I have been working as an illustrator for many years, producing commercial illustrations for books, magazines, television and advertising.
Whatever the subject my approach is to capture the essence of the subject simply and strongly.
I have worked in different media – from highly realistic airbrush work to oils and watercolours to simple diagrammatic line art. However, most of my current work is digital using an iPad and a Mac.
My specialist area is in science and medicine, and many of the Folio examples are available via Science Photo Library. I am also involved in worldwide healthcare education and, in particular, Children for Health.
Clients have included Astra, BBC, Home Office, Pharmacia (Kabi), Bard, Macmillan, Wolfe Medical, Mims, MSD, Penguin, Synopsis, Boots, M&S, Lloyds TSB and Telstra.
